Had to fill in questionnaire via Dr link in the morning, a Dr called me back at around 5.15 in the afternoon, but because he called my mobile number even though I had given my work number on the preferred contact box on the Dr link form I missed bithe the calls. I was told a prescription for a steroid cream had been sent to the pharmacy but this is a cream I have had previously that did nothing to revile my painful symptoms. I was also told by receptionist to mention another issue I had once I got my appointment as couldn't put both issues on Dr link! As I didn't have a consultation with anyone this could not be mentioned.

Suggested improvements
Rang the correct number provided.Allow appointments to be made with a receptionist rather than Dr Link. I struggled to get on due to having very bad WiFi connection.

This evening we had the pleasure of seeing Dr Brizell, he made my daughter feel comfortable and above all spoke directly to her. She has a disability and in the past has felt that she is not included in the consultation, he certainly didn't make her feel like this at all and all the way through spoke to her and confirmed with her everything he wanted to happen. I as her Mum felt he came across as if he cared, it was a bit like the good old days with Dr Harris and Dr Bowen, long may it last. The receptionist (sorry we didn't get your name) was lovely too, really helpful, sorting out our future appointments, everyone who came in while we were waiting, she had a smile and cheery comment.

He said he would send a prescription over to Northlands as they closed at 9.30pm rather than Wells as they closed at 6pm and may not have it there. When I got to Northlands it had been sent to Wells, had to purchase them over the counter.

Dear Patient. Thanks for your review, your feedback is very much appreciated! We will pass on your kind words to Dr Brizell, who has recently joined the Practice as a GP Partner. We think he’s fantastic and we’re thrilled to hear you were happy with his consultation for you and your daughter. We are sorry to hear about the mix up with the Pharmacy and will look into improving this for our patients in future.

Cleanliness and overall waiting time was good. Completed doctor link, which suggested I needed to be seen within a week. I had to all to make the appointment as the record of my doctor li k results seemed to have been missed.

Suggested improvements
The doctor I saw had an appalling bedside manner. I had two genuine causes for concern and I was made to feel like I was wasting his time. For the first cause of concern I was told to seek help elsewhere (advice as to where was given) feeling judged while he did so. I did seek that help elsewhere and it turned out it was something he should have picked up on, but unfortunately he jumped to the wrong conclusion. For the second cause of concern I feel I should have been examined but wasn't. I couldnt explain my issue well enough with words so i would have thought an examination would have been common sense. I left the office feeling embarrassed, concerned and angry. So I am none the wiser as to what to do. This is not the first time I have been made to feel this way at this surgery. I understand the NHS is struggling with the demand for care but I still expect to be able to see a doctor with some compassion without feeling judged.
